I’m Aria Melonfish Bell and I made this site to keep track of life’s incidental details, fleeting obsessions and delicious recipes. It is hosted and created on the greatest Debian machines in all the galaxy using linux with all open source tools; pictures are taken on my Lumix FX9 or my iphone. The playlist is realtime, it shows whats playing at home and updates the site with a script that my husband Chris wrote. Who coincidentally also happens to rule the galaxy.
We live in Santa Monica and I work in Downtown Los Angeles as a sysadmin. I like small cats, air conditioning, and sushi. I dislike raisins, nextels, and spiders. If you want to get in touch with me send email to ariabell at gmail dot com. Stick around kid, leave a comment!

Did you know that your tunnel graphic for the banner of your blog looks just like a cross-harbour tunnel in Hong Kong?
Hi!
I was reading about Matty Luv and wondered if you would comment on your time with him?
Unless of course I have the wrong Aria Melonfish…
Hey Aria, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting me in my new blog and leaving me such kind comments. I am tagging you in my recent post, your input would be much appreciated
Thanks for your time, and have a great weekend now, cheers !

Wow… a sysadmin who uses debian, can cook, take photos, and has a thing for oxymorons… I like it…
Excellent work
Matt
Hate to be a troll but I’m trying to get the word out about
my new website. I really think people who read this blog would find
it interesting and useful. Please visit http://www.reciperate.com to
store recipes online, and share recipes with friends and family.
Anyone with a food blog will understand how helpful it is to have a
blog separate from recipe posts.
Thanks for posting http://www.japanesestreets.com in your blogroll. I just found out today, although it probably has been there for a while. Love your site and the way that you write about food and the everyday. Truly delicious insights.
By the way, I Just started a new photo blog with photos of Japan between the 1860s and 1930s. Perhaps you like that as well: http://www.oldphotosjapan.com
Cheers and keep on cooking!
